There are 4 places of beaches and bayes for the enjoyment which are:

 

Batok Bay

 

Approximately 10 -  15 minutes from Banraya Resort and Spa.

 

     The batok bay locates on the west of Rachayai island which is called for serveral names like 'Bangalow Bay', 'Namtatok Bay (Falling tears Bay)' and 'Plubpla Bay'.  The general characteristics of this bay is a large long white smooth sand.  This place is also famed for 'sun bathing', 'swimming' and 'diving'  surrounded with shops, restaurant and scuba diving school.

 

Siam Bay

 

Best for sea wades between November and April

       Siam Bay locates on the north of Rachayai island where takes 10 minutes (approx.) from Banraya resort.  This place's characteristics is Batok bay look alike but longer beach and suited for various activities like 'sun bathing' and 'diving'.  This bay is also surrounded with shops and restaurant which are pleased to serve you.

 

Ter Bay

 

Best for sea wades and activities between November and April
 

    Ter bay locates on the East side of Rachayai island where takes about 5 minutes from the Banraya, the beach character is a mixture of sand and rock but a good spot for divings.  This bay is one of an important spot for scubar diving on island but there's no shops and lavatory on this bay.  The perfect time for activities is between November and April.  There's also a small beach near to Ter bay where is only 10-15 meters long called 'Lar Bay', this place is rocky and sand but still able to play.

 

Khon-kae Bay

 

Best for sea wades and activities between May and October.

 

    Khon-kae bay locates on South-east side of Rachayai island which Banraya Resort and Spa is located. It's famed for best diving spot by the beautiful fish and fully well formed coral.  The beach characteristic is mixtured of sand and rock but suited for dabble and sun bathing.  There are also a shops and lavatory around the beach.

 

To Travel to the resort would be seperated into 2 season :

High Season

    During November to April the journey to the resort would be the 'speed boat' which will leave from the Chalong bay habour at 9.00 am. and arrive back at 3 pm. everyday.  It would take about 30 - 40 minutes from Chalong to Rachayai island and Banraya resort and spa pleased to transport you from the hotel to Chalong bay habour for the expediency.

 

      You can define the transportation spot with our reservation officers for the forward appointment. 

Green Season

   This season is a period between May to October.  We could access to the resort by our 'Diving boat' deal to the time period is in the raining season which causes a heavy rage.  The boat would leave the harbour at 8.30 am. and get back at 1 pm. - 2 pm. (approx.) everyday and takes about 1 hours and 30 minutes for the transportations.
